Samurai is a modern lounge chair, made from turned oak timber sections with the seat and back in high quality Danish saddle leather. Inspired by studying hunting chairs of the mid-20th century, designers Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl have created a modern interpretation of the low-slung hunting chair, with construction derived from Japanese simplicity and Danish stick chairs of the 1950’s.
The cover folds around the chair like armour and carries the body with ease. The seat is mounted with brass rivets in order to achieve maximum strength, while the back is mounted with adjustable leather straps and brass buckles. Leather materials are handmade in Denmark, Samurai chair made in the EU.
